The challenge in "Women's Neuromodulation"

NeuroGyn AG introduces PosStim™, a next-generation implantable neurostimulator engineered for Genital Nerve Stimulation (GNS) — a novel, minimally invasive therapy targeting pelvic nerve disorders that affect bladder and bowel control, sexual function, and mobility.
Developed in collaboration with imec, PosStim™ combines Swiss medical innovation with European micro-engineering excellence to establish a new benchmark in precision pelvic neuromodulation.

The PosStim™ system embodies simplicity, safety, and performance. Its compact design allows discreet implantation behind the pubic bone, fully invisible under the skin. The device is pre-connected, pre-programmed, and functionally verifiable before surgery, ensuring maximal reliability and minimal procedural time. Once implanted, patients can wirelessly manage their therapy through a single handheld controller and mobile app, enabling complete autonomy without the need for repeated clinical adjustments.

Unlike traditional sacral or pudendal neuromodulation systems that require complex implantation and programming, PosStim™ is designed for routine gynecological practice — reproducible, cost-efficient, and highly scalable. Its long-life dual-battery system, inductive wireless charging, and optimized low-power architecture guarantee sustained therapeutic delivery for more than fifteen years under normal life conditions.

PosStim™ reflects more than two decades of clinical experience in neuropelveology and introduces a new standard in patient-centered neurotechnology — merging advanced engineering, intuitive usability, and minimally invasive access. By addressing the functional core of pelvic disorders through targeted genital nerve stimulation, the PosStim™ platform opens the door to a new era in personalized pelvic health.

Slightly larger than a AAA battery, the PosStim features a state-of-the-art ultra-low power miniaturized electronic system enclosed in a completely safe ceramic capsule. A non-detachable electrode is integrated into the device, which is powered by a rechargeable battery and can be wirelessly controlled and recharged via a wearable companion. The convenient form factor and stimulation characteristics have been specifically designed for the Genital Nerve Stimulation (GNS) implantation procedure and to support the neuromodulation therapy for OverActive Bladder (OAB) developed by prof. Possover.
